Function / Content

This series consists of a bound volume of submissions received during an internal review of the operations of the department. Included are submissions received by each section of the department, and responses to the submissions. The submissions were organised under the following sections in this volume; Senior Executive Group, Cultural Affairs Division, Community Government Division, regionalisation, general, and Staff Association comments. The functions of Community Development have evolved to now be the responsibilities of the Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet (Local Government and Community development and senior agency), the Department of Health (Welfare), the Department of Attorney General and Justice (Correctional Services), and the Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities (Arts and Culture, Sports and Heritage)
